Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Salesperson to join our team and play a critical role in growing our business within the military dining sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in foodservice sales, familiarity with military dining contracts, and a strong network within this niche. Experience with sam.gov, FDPS, GSA, and other government contracting processes is helpful.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within military dining contracts.
Leverage sam.gov, FDPS, GSA, and other relevant platforms to generate qualified leads.
Build and maintain relationships with key contacts within military dining facilities and large government foodservice contracts.
Act as a liaison between Greenway Supply Company and military clients to ensure product satisfaction and ongoing contract renewals.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategies for product placement and tailored solutions.
Meet and exceed sales targets, driving revenue growth for the company.
Qualifications:
Experience: Proven experience in foodservice sales, particularly within military or government dining contracts.
Lead Generation: Skilled in utilizing platforms to identify and track leads.
Networking: Strong contacts within large military dining contracts; existing relationships are highly preferred.
Product Knowledge: Knowledge of foodservice products, paper goods, janitorial supplies, and consumables.
Military Background: Previous military experience is preferred but not required.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; capable of presenting product solutions clearly and persuasively.
